Furthering your career

Welcome on board! Like all new employees at Expanscience, you’ll be welcomed during a session designed to present the company and its activities at the Paris La Défense head office and at Epernon, our IR&D and production site.

Throughout your career, you will benefit from our “performance cycle”. Each year, your manager will arrange an annual interview and a personal development interview. These interviews will enable following your development and ascertaining how fulfilling your job is, and may involve suggesting possible training or discussing your desire to work with us elsewhere in France or internationally.

As you see, Expanscience aims to do everything possible to enable you to continue your career by focusing on exciting, challenging projects under high-quality working conditions.

At Expanscience we want to transition to become a regenerative company by 2040. This ambition leads us to transform our offer and ways of working. Our corporate culture and individual and collective behaviors must guide us to develop our daily performance and to reinforce the well-being of all and everyone.
That is why we have collectively defined shared desired behaviors. These shared behaviors are a concrete, relatable and measurable way to activate our corporate culture. They are a compass in our daily work. They are a common ground on which we can build more effective and fulfilling work relations, together and with all our stakeholders.

Build trust

At the foundation of who we want to be as a company, as a global team and as human beings, there is trust. Our collective performance, financial and non-financial, depends on it. Trust cannot be ordered or decided. As an ongoing process, it is gradually and collectively built. It is as much about getting clear on expectations and responsibilities as about delivering and being dependable. It is also about showing solidarity and being united. It is through trust that we will succeed together

Grow together

As Expanscience employees and as individuals, we are all different. Growing together is about using our differences as a global strength, learning from each other and supporting each other, sharing the same objectives and the same vision on a journey that is not always smooth. This means including people, keeping an open mind, making sure that nobody is left out... All while exploring new territories.

As we are engaged in becoming a regenerative company, we make each interaction with our human and natural ecosystem count. This means sharing with and learning from the people we work with every day. We are mindful of our interactions with nature: balancing giving and taking, growing and nurturing, just as we do in the company. Learn from failures as much as from successes

To move forward and act in a complex and uncertain environment, we must be able to test solutions and take risks. This mindset is key to our collective growth. Our mistakes should be embraced as opportunities for learning and our successes shared and celebrated.

Make it simple

We are fully aware we need to simplify our processes and decision making. In our daily work, we want to encourage efficiency and simplicity, without being simplistic. We acknowledge that world is complex, but we need to be able to navigate this complexity. This sometimes means giving up doing something, saying no, or just trying to find a better and simpler way forward. This also means looking for alignment and consistency.

Act consistently with what you say

Being true to our mission and our ambition, at every level of our organisation, is a powerful way to foster trust. It means, for each of us, trying to lead by example, respecting our stakeholders and ecosystems, being responsible towards the next generation. It is also about being clear on objectives in our daily work and reaching alignment between the field reality and our ambition.
